It’s that time of year again. Christmas is just around the corner, and business isn’t operating as usual. You might be wondering how you can make the most of the holiday season, and keep your customers up-to-date with changing trading hours.
Keep Customers Up-to-date With Trading Hours
Over the holiday period, your trading times are most likely to change. Whether you are taking a few weeks off completely, or closing earlier, it’s essential to let your customers know.
There are a few ways you can get your message out:
- Send out an email. If you have your clients’ email addresses, you can send a quick email detailing your changed trading hours. Let them know when you will resume operating as normal. And don’t forget to wish them happy holidays!
- Keep your fans and followers up-to-date on social media. Social media is a fantastic way to reach many of your customers and potential A short post about your holiday hours accompanied by a festive image is a friendly, easy way to avoid customer disappointment. When you resume regular hours, or come back from time off, make sure you update your social media again letting your fans know.
- A SMS is another way to let your customers know your holiday trading hours.
Don’t forget to update your website too, particularly if you are taking a few weeks off.
